Academics

A legacy of breaking away from mediocrity |

Results matter. At CIS Dasuya, we give top priority to academic excellence and encourage our students to strive for nothing but the best.

While our track record in helping students to achieve the qualifications required for entry into the world’s most reputable universities is a testament to our commitment to excellence, we firmly believe that this success is only part of the equation. Equally important to us is fostering a lifelong passion for learning and nurturing the essential skills of independent thought that empower our students to blaze their trails.

We understand that education should be an enjoyable and empowering journey that leads to a future full of possibilities, not just a means to an end that leaves our students feeling burnt out and unprepared. We prioritise both academic achievement and the development of a holistic human being, ensuring that our students are equipped to make meaningful contributions to society and lead successful, fulfilling lives.

Our faculty members and fellow students offer diverse perspectives and guidance throughout this adventure.

Additionally, we encourage students to venture overseas for study, research or work. By cultivating this inquisitive mindset, Cambridge International School, Dasuya aspires to create lifelong learners who are equipped to become responsible global leaders.

Primary

CIS Dasuya prioritises the well-being and happiness of its students, aiming to cultivate leadership and a sense of legacy. The curriculum goes beyond academics, nurturing students in all aspects of their lives. With modern resources like smart classes, activity-based teaching, experiential learning and co-curricular activities, students can explore their strengths and interests while developing leadership skills. Respect and courtesy are expected from all students, fostering a supportive and harmonious environment. The education system is both modern and mindful of social issues, instilling a sense of responsibility as future citizens.

Curriculum Overview

As an institution affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, we prepare students for Secondary School and Senior Secondary examinations, while emphasising holistic development and creative potential.

Our comprehensive curriculum includes specialised streams in Commerce, Medical and Non-Medical fields at the +2 level.

At CIS, we believe that education should encompass more than just academics. Right since inception, we have incorporated music and sports into our students’ experiences and now offer a diverse array of opportunities including arts and outdoor education. Our co-curricular programme also encourages community engagement through social and environmental action projects, adding to the roster of traditional school activities.

The CBSE is committed to providing quality education to promote intellectual, social and cultural vivacity among its learners. It works towards evolving a learning process and environment, which empowers future citizens to become global leaders in the future.

The CBSE advocates Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) with an emphasis on the holistic development of learners. The board commits itself to providing a stress-free learning environment that will develop competent, confident and enterprising citizens who will promote harmony and peace.

Senior Secondary School Curriculum:

In this phase of schooling, students will attend regular classes, and their progress will be determined by their performance in the subjects they are taught. The school offers the following academic streams:

  • Science (Medical & Non-Medical)
  • Commerce
  • Humanities

Students are counselled and offered the above streams based on their academic performance and their acumen. Students must choose one of these streams to complete their Senior Secondary Education. The choice made in Class XI will continue into Class XII without any alterations. If a student wishes to change their chosen stream, they must do so during their Junior Year (Class XI). Educators also ensure that students get additional classes at no extra cost in case they do not wish to go for coaching.
